                               RESOLUTION NO. 20542
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION APPROVING MODIFICATION TO THE
                  URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR THE ORCHARD KNOB URBAN
                  RENEWAL AREA, PROJECT NO. CD-112.

       	    	 WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of
       Chattanooga by Resolution No. 9282, adopted April 18, 1972,
       approved the Urban Renewal Plan for the Orchard Knob Urban 
Renewal
       Area, Project No. CD-112 (dated April 1, 1972), and revised by
       Resolution No. 10912 adopted December 23, 1975, No. 12124 adopted 

       July 27, 1976, No. 12589 adopted August 16, 1977, No. 16792
       adopted May 13, 1986, No. 18479 adopted February 20, 1990, and 
No.
       19048 adopted June 4, 1991; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of said project that
       said Urban Renewal Plan be further modified; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Chattanooga
       Housing Authority has modified said Urban Renewal Plan as
       evidenced by a duly certified copy of a resolution of said Board
       dated March 20, 1995;
                                NOW, THEREFORE,
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE:
       	    	  1.  That the Revised Urban Renewal Plan for the Orchard
       Knob Urban Renewal Area, Project No. CD-112, dated April 1, 1972,

       revised December 19, 1975, revised July 16, 1976, revised August
       12, 1977, modified May 6, 1986, modified February 9, 1990, and
       modified May 13, 1991, is hereby approved;
       	    	  2.  That it is hereby determined that the modified
       Urban Renewal Plan conforms to the general plan for the City of
       Chattanooga; and
       	    	  3.  That the Clerk of the City Council is hereby
       directed to file a copy of said modified Urban Renewal Plan with
       the minutes of this meeting.
